We figure you probably want to get to know us a bit more – you know, to see what kind of people & travellers we are. We get it! So this is us…
We’re born and bred Albertan Canadians, and we’ve been married 11 years, together for 16. We’re hovering around that 40 years old mark and we bust our asses at our jobs during the week and play even harder on vacation.
Work keeps us busy; plus adding new posts to our blogs is no mean feat either, but it’s fun to go down memory lane! We started this as our own travel diary, but the more we travel the more we get asked for tips and trip details so we thought why not do this blog thing!
We lead pretty boring day to day lives. When we’re home, we like to cook together and have a beer or wine while listening to music. And we’ve been known to have the occasional wine night kitchen dance party…
Our favorite things are music, beer & wine, sports, the mountains, fishing, boating and beaches. And Vegas in general!

When on vacay, we do like to spoil ourselves some. You know, dress up a bit, eat yummy dinners, see fun shows & concerts, do adventurous activities, catch live sporting events…
Straight up, what isn’t our thing is drama, rudeness or over-the-top fanciness. We’re a laid back couple that likes to go with the flow. Experiencing people, places & cultures is important to us, and we appreciate the differences and beauty in each.
We’re honest & down to earth, we just like to have a good time. We like to enjoy life.
