You’re probably here because you want to get to know us a little better — the kind of people (and travellers) we are. Totally fair. So, here’s a bit about us…
Hi, we’re Jeff & Jasmine.
We’re born-and-bred Albertans who’ve been married for 14 years and together for 19.
We’re just in our 40s and we work hard during the week and play even harder when we’re on vacation.
Our Real Life (when we’re not travelling)
Work keeps us busy, and keeping up with new blog posts is no small feat — but we love going down memory lane. What started as our own little travel diary slowly turned into something more. The more we travelled, the more friends (and friends of friends) started asking for tips, itineraries, and recommendations… so we figured, why not turn this into a proper blog and share it all here?
Our day-to-day lives are pretty low-key. When we’re home, you’ll usually find us cooking together, cracking a beer or pouring a glass of wine, and throwing some music on in the background. And yes — we’ve definitely been known to turn the kitchen into a dance floor on wine nights.
Our favorite things include snuggling our 23-year-old cat, live music, going golfing, catching a football or hockey game, the mountains, fishing, boating, beach days… and honestly? Vegas in general.
This is starting to sound like a dating profile… but hey, let’s roll with it.
Our Travel Style
When we’re on vacation, we do like to spoil ourselves a little. Think getting dressed up, enjoying really good dinners, checking out fun shows and concerts, doing adventurous activities, and catching live sporting events whenever we can.
What’s not our thing? Drama, rudeness, or over-the-top fanciness. We’re a laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of couple. Experiencing new people, places, and cultures is what really matters to us, and we genuinely appreciate the differences and beauty in each.

This space is where we share our real-life travel experiences — the trips we plan, the places we fall in love with, the concerts and sporting events we build trips around, and all the little moments in between. You’ll find honest hotel stays, destination highlights, itinerary ideas, food and drink spots we actually enjoyed, and the occasional “learn from our mistakes” tip too.
We’re not here to pretend every trip is perfect or every moment is Instagram-worthy. We’re here to show you what travel looks like for a real couple who works hard, saves up, and makes the most of their time off. If you’re into fun experiences, great vibes, and making memories over collecting things — you’re in the right place.
We’re honest, down-to-earth, and just here to enjoy life and have a good time.
