When we travel, we tend to stay in hotels – cooking & cleaning just isn’t what we like to do on vacation. But this time we decided to book a VRBO property, and this was the nicest and most relaxed stay we’ve had in Canmore…
So we gotta tell you all about this amazing penthouse we snagged with its own private rooftop hot tub – the view is unreal! And get this, it was hands down the cleanest rental spot we’ve ever crashed in! We’re all about killer views and spotlessness, and this place nailed it.
We went with a rental instead of a hotel because we were craving our own little hideout. You know, eating whenever we felt like it, soaking in the hot tub for as long as we pleased (this was during Covid and we did not want to book hot tub time schedules).
Basically, we just wanted to be super lazy and avoid people if we weren’t in the mood to socialize. Don’t get us wrong – Canmore is a blast with tons to do and awesome spots to eat and drink. Seriously, you won’t have a bad meal there, guaranteed. But you know those times when it’s just a bit too crowded outside? Yeah, you feel us, right?
This rental is a beautiful clean set up and is the perfect home base location for your Canmore stay!
Room Overview
PRIVATE HOT TUB – we cannot say enough how AWESOME this was!
- Master suite has a loft feel with a sliding door to overlook the living room (with a railing)
- Includes a huge walk in closet
3 bedrooms, with tv’s in each
2 bathrooms
- Deep tub with rain shower + wand in ensuite
- Steam shower in the main bath
Complete with a BBQ and stunning views!
Very clean! Both freshly cleaned and deep cleaned
The host was very quick with responses & clear in communication
The Grande – Kitchen & Bar on main level (delicious, we ordered take out here twice)

These may seem like no brainers – who really cares about a kitchen right? But we’ve stayed in other rentals that didn’t have these items and having them is kind of a game changer.
